A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Nicole Bessel

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 17, 2018 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Nicole Bessel. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
Nicole Bessel was sentenced to a term of 5 Years Probation, 11 Months Jail and $180 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Controlled Substance-Possession of Methamphetamine/Ecstasy, and to a term of 5 Years Probation, 11 Months Jail and $180 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Controlled Substance-Possession of Methamphetamine/Ecstasy-Conspiracy. She was sentenced on March 24, 2008 from Saginaw County.
Sandra Wilson, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
