A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Anthony Martin

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Anthony Martin.  The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams and can be accessed by clicking HERE.

Those planning to access the hearing must call 517-335-1736 no later than April 16, 2024, to confirm attendance.

Anthony Martin was sentenced to a term of 2 years to 15 years and $1935 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/ Restitution) for the crime of Armed Robbery. Anthony Martin was sentenced on April 26, 2010, out of Washtenaw County.

Crissa D. Blankenburg, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.   

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
