DIFS Consumer Education Program
DIFS Consumer Education Program
Who We Are and What We Do
The Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) regulates Michigan’s insurance and financial services industry. DIFS can offer assistance to Michigan consumers if they have questions or complaints about any of the entities it regulates. It is our duty to sustain an active relationship with Michigan’s consumers. This involves keeping consumers informed and helping them adapt to industry developments.
DIFS Consumer Education Program
The DIFS Consumer Education Program provides free, statewide financial education for Michigan consumers at various community locations. Through our Consumer Education Program, DIFS is able to increase public awareness and understanding of the department’s services.
DIFS offers a variety of presentations and workshops pertaining to different insurance and financial services topics. DIFS also offers a general presentation that explains the role of the department and how we can assist Michigan consumers.
In addition, if you have a topic of interest that is not listed below, we can tailor any presentation to fit the specific needs of your target audience.
