Ribbon Cutting for Traverse City MING Armory
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (June 29, 2018) - Traverse City Mayor Jim Carruthers, State Representative Larry Inman, and representatives from Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters, Maj. Gen. Gregory Vadnais and armory manager Sgt. 1st Class Derek Quick cut the ribbon to officially open the new Michigan National Guard Traverse City Armory.
The armory was formerly a charter school, but will now house two Michigan Army National Guard units, including the 1430th Engineer Co. previously based in Gladstone.
