1103 West Pearl Street and 200 South 1st Street (Chesaning, Saginaw County)
1103 West Pearl Street and 200 South 1st Street were historically used for manufacturing and vehicle servicing, including glass cutting and metal working. One temporary groundwater monitoring well was sampled for PFAS and had 15 ppt PFOA (compared to 8 ppt). EGLE received this data as part of a baseline environmental assessment, which allows a potential purchaser to buy property without being liable for existing contamination. An unnamed drain is located directly east of the property, and the Deer Creek is located ~0.25 miles west of the property.
