Join Us for the 7th Annual Detroit Fostering Futures Scholarship Dinner Event

For the 7th annual dinner event we are planning a strolling dinner at the stunning Waterview Loft in Port Detroit. A brief program, silent auction and raffles will take place amid the spectacular views of the Detroit River and Canadian skyline as we gather to raise funds and support former foster youth as they pursue higher education.

Please join us Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at the Waterview Loft, Port Detroit (130 E. Atwater Street, Detroit, MI 48226) and help make the dream of a college education a reality for former foster youth.

Carolyn Clifford anchors the 4, 6, 7 and 11 p.m. newscasts at WXYZ-TV. Carolyn returns to serve as emcee for the Detroit fundraising dinner event, bringing her understanding and compassion for foster youth to the evening.

Your $100 donation is tax deductible. All proceeds from reservations, sponsorships, auction and raffles are awarded as scholarships to former foster youth currently enrolled at Michigan colleges and universities. During the 2017-18 academic year, 370 students at 50 different institutions received support.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund for disbursement during the 2018-19 academic year. The Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund is a Sec. 170 (c) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide scholarships to former foster youth enrolled at Michigan colleges and universities.
