Information for School Districts

The School Loan Revolving Fund e-mailed the May 2026 Semi-Annual Applications to districts the first week of March 2026. Please review the application materials for accuracy, complete the forms, and e-mail or mail the required documents to the address provided.

The cover transmittal, worksheet, and reconciled bank statements must be returned no later than April 1, 2026. Failure to meet this deadline could result in notification to and written acknowledgement from your district’s school board. In addition, Treasury may withhold a school district’s state aid funds until the school district is in compliance.

If the school district will not be borrowing from the SLRF at this time, please inform the SBL staff by returning the Cover Transmittal or submitting an e-mail to TreasSBQLP@michigan.gov.

Final verification of the disbursement will be requested via email on or before April 15, 2026. Modifications will require certification by the authorized officer. Requested funds will be wire transferred 5 business days prior to the May 1, 2026, payment due date. Therefore, the disbursement proceeds will be deposited in the designated account on April 23, 2026. In order to remain in compliance with the paying agent, debt service payments should be wired on or before April 24, 2026.
