  4. Executive Director’s Report
    1. Patrick Dostine, Executive Director, informed the meeting that in reviewing the monthly financial reports for DPS and DPSCD, for the month ending April 30, 2026, DPS and DPSCD remain in compliance with all statute relative to their waver statuses.
    2. He also informed the meeting that on June 16, the DPSCD school board adopted a balanced FY 27 budget for DPS and DPSCD. Both have projected operating surpluses.
    3. He stated that the board and the administration at the May committee of the whole discussed increasing the projection of student enrollment from 1% to 3%, which was different from the previous balance budgets adopted by the district. If the district hits their mark, that would be an increase of 1,540 students x $10,300 = $15.8M. The 3% was also baked into the 5YR projection. If the district doesn’t hit the 3% mark in FY27, the district can adjust the budget with the first budget amendment in the fall.
