Statutory Revenue Sharing
Action Requested:
Verify Ad Valorem Taxable Values: To ensure accuracy of the Statutory Revenue Sharing payments, Treasury is requesting local units and counties to review the Ad Valorem Taxable Values indicated in the FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing - 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Values reports. Local units may need to work with their local assessor and counties may need to work with their Equalization Director to verify the taxable values.- If the 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Value is correct, no further action is needed.
- If the 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Value is incorrect, submit Form 6167 - Correction of 2025 Ad Valorem Taxable Values Used for the FY 2026 Statutory Revenue Sharing Payments, including substantiating documentation, to the Michigan Department of Treasury by March 31, 2026.
