Conditional and Provisional Assessor Certification
MCL 211.10d provides for a six month Conditional Certification to be available for newly elected assessing officers (Supervisors) or assessing officers (Supervisors) appointed to fill an expiring term. The State Tax Commission in April 2010 adopted a policy to provide for a Provisional Certification to be issued after the expiration of the Conditional Certification but prior to completion of the STC MCAO Program.
