The State Tax Commission will be holding its regular meeting at the Okemos Conference Center Ballroom, Okemos, Michigan and via Microsoft TEAMS.

The meeting is open to the public, and this notice is provided under the Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 to 15.275.

Join the Meeting

You will be taken to a page where you can choose to either join on the web browser, the Microsoft Teams app, or to download the app if you don't already have it installed.

If you do not have a Microsoft Teams account, you may have the option to enter your name to join the meeting as a guest. If you do have a Microsoft Teams account, select Sign in to join with access to the meeting chat and more.

To get the best of Microsoft Teams meetings on a mobile phone, including audio and video you will need to download and install the Microsoft Teams mobile app.

To participate in the State Tax Commission meeting by phone you must use the Q&A function of TEAMS to communicate with staff.  Staff will provide the phone number and code to join the meeting.  Make sure you are viewing "My Posts" in the "Q&A" section.  You must also provide your name, the phone number you are calling from, and the matter you wish to discuss.  After calling in, staff will let you into the meeting.  At that time you may need to hit *6 to unmute yourself and turn down your computer speaker volume to avoid feedback.

Note: Try to download the app at least 15 minutes before the meeting starts. It might take several minutes, depending on your internet connection.
