Broadband Information

Broadband Maps

The maps below from the Michigan High Speed Internet Office (MIHI) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) can be used to search for broadband service availability at a particular location. The previous Michigan broadband map produced by Connected Nation is no longer available. Michigan residents should use one of the following maps to search for broadband availability instead. Note: The following maps are not produced or maintained by the MPSC. Any questions, concerns, or issues with the maps should be directed to either MIHI or the FCC respectively.

Michigan Broadband Map

MIHI maintains a map of broadband availability throughout the state of Michigan. The map can be searched by street address and allows users to see which broadband providers are serving that address, what technology they are using to provide broadband, and the maximum download and upload speeds they offer. The MIHI map also provides broadband buildout funding information for locations throughout Michigan.

National Broadband Map

The FCC publishes a national broadband map that can be used to view broadband availability throughout the United States. The map is searchable by street address and can be filtered using several parameters such as technology used and speeds.
