Infrastructure affects your daily life, from roads and bridges to drinking water, wastewater, energy, and communications systems.
As part of this work, the Michigan Infrastructure Council is developing a Citizens Guide to Infrastructure Systems, a public-facing resource designed to help residents better understand the infrastructure systems they rely on every day and the role these systems play in supporting healthy, safe, and thriving communities.
To ensure this resource reflects the interests and needs of Michigan residents, we are conducting a statewide public survey and are requesting your assistance in sharing it with your members and networks.
The survey is intended to help us understand:
- What infrastructure topics residents want to learn more about
- Common questions or misconceptions about infrastructure systems
- Preferred methods for accessing information
- Opportunities to improve public understanding and engagement
Public feedback will directly inform the content, format, and priorities of the Citizens Guide, helping ensure it is relevant, accessible, and useful to communities across Michigan.
