Education and Training
The Michigan Infrastructure Council (MIC) is committed to providing accurate, trusted information that supports effective infrastructure decisions. Improving Michigan’s infrastructure is a shared responsibility—everyone has a role to play. Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and embrace their role is critical to successfully managing our state’s infrastructure.
Effective infrastructure management requires a common understanding among those who own, operate, fund, and use these essential services. While asset management plans and processes are becoming more familiar to infrastructure professionals, the long-term business case and return on investment are often less understood by the broader public. Helping everyone see how investing in asset management today can stabilize costs and improve performance tomorrow is key to securing the funding needed for sound policies and plans.
