Please note, after requesting access you may be contacted for additional information via email in order to determine your eligibility. Once determined as eligible by MIC staff, applicants for the MiDIG Portal will receive an email request with a link to review and sign the Individual User Agreement (IUA) through an online signature process.
Applicants applying from an agency not already signed up for MiDIG will be asked to review and sign a Project Portal Access Agreement (PPAA) and fill out a list of authorized users. Please note that the first individual to sign up for a new agency will automatically assume the role of the agency’s administrator. Please review the operational guidelines to learn more about what this role entails and reach out to staff at mic@michigan.gov with questions.
Once your paperwork has been completed and reviewed by staff, you will receive a notification if you have been approved for access to MiDIG. Once approved, applicants can access MiDIG through their MiLogin homepage ongoing.
We Suggest New Users:
- Review their user profile the first time they enter the MiDIG portal
- Learn more about portal features by watching our MiDIG Tutorials
- Set up notification preferences and boundary groups to stay up to date
- Work with their agency to establish a plan for utilizing the portal and a schedule for updating project information
Once signed up, agency’s can add new users by having them follow the same application process outlined in steps 1-3. For changes to user information and permissions, requests to remove users, and other questions, agency’s should reach out to MIC staff at mic@michigan.gov for assistance.
