Christine Black

Christine Black has more than 22 years of municipal experience with the City of Traverse City and currently serves as Asset Management/GIS Analyst. Her work focuses on infrastructure asset management, GIS, capital planning support, regulatory reporting, and the administration of the City's work order and asset management systems.

After spending 12 years in the Engineering Department helping digitize the City's water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, she transitioned into asset management, where she has developed asset inventories, management plans, dashboards, and planning tools used across multiple departments. Christine is a certified Prosci Change Practitioner and a 2022 graduate of the Michigan Infrastructure Council's Asset Management Champion Program.
