  • For veterans, there's high quality care at the top of our great state

Located in the beautiful city of Marquette, near the shores of Lake Superior, we offer quality care in a home-like environment. Our family-friendly campus surrounds veterans with the support they need, with a staff that's always encouraging wellness and independence.

    • 184 members: Residents will have a variety of opportunities to participate in spiritual, social, recreational and educational activities - both on-site and in the surrounding communities.
    • 1 easily accessible building: This veteran-centric community features a four-story building - spanning an entire city block. That means our residents have access to everything they need, without having to leave.
    • A rich history: The DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans was established in 1981, in the former St. Mary's Hospital building. What's more, it was named for Dominic J. Jacobetti, the longest-serving member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
    • Compassionate care: Every day, our extensive, professional staff focuses on long-term and short-term care, rehab and therapy[CK1] , dementia and memory care, and palliative care, as well as domiciliary care services. An in-house pharmacy, pastoral care and specialty clinics (such as dental and vision care) are also available.
