Michigan Veteran Homes is an organization that offers members of our military the benefits they deserve, an exceptional home and extraordinary healthcare. Of course, competitive wages and benefits are at center of every career opportunity, but we also strive to offer work-life balance.

Additional work perks include:

  • State-of-the-art workspaces – We acquire, build and maintain the modern equipment and facilities that not only make MVH a great place to live and receive care, but also to work.
  • Cultural competence – MVH is committed to creating and maintaining a work environment that promotes respect and understanding of diverse cultures, social groups and individuals. Staff are empowered to advocate for themselves and their teammates without fear of repercussion. They should always feel safe and respected.
  • Opportunities for advancement – We develop clearly structured advancement opportunities, so employees feel appreciated for their contributions and commitment.
  • Ongoing training and education – So team members can properly care for our veterans, we continuously enhance their knowledge, skills and capabilities. This includes robust training and development programs that position people to not only succeed in their current positions, but to put them on a fulfilling, financially sustainable, long-term career path.

MVH is an employer of choice by providing a workplace committed to our employees and stakeholders, promoting positive relationships among coworkers, providing opportunities for growth and freely sharing information. Staff are always willing to lend a hand to each other in support of the team.
