At Michigan Veteran Homes, our volunteers are vital. Individuals, families and groups are always enhancing the quality of life for our members, which is something we genuinely appreciate.
There are a wide variety of opportunities, tasks and time commitments for our volunteers and include:
- Spending quality time with our veterans
- Attending sporting events or shopping trips with members
- Playing cards or games
- Serving as readers and writers
- Raking leaves on the grounds
All volunteers must complete an application, agree to a code of conduct and submit to a background check prior to attending a two-hour orientation. To get the process started, please complete this online application: MVH Volunteer Application.
