Service to Our Members

At Michigan Veteran Homes, our volunteers are vital. Individuals, families and groups are always enhancing the quality of life for our members, which is something we genuinely appreciate.

There are a wide variety of opportunities, tasks and time commitments for our volunteers and include:

  • Spending quality time with our veterans
  • Attending sporting events or shopping trips with members
  • Playing cards or games
  • Serving as readers and writers
  • Raking leaves on the grounds

All volunteers must complete an application, agree to a code of conduct and submit to a background check prior to attending a two-hour orientation. To get the process started, please complete this online application: MVH Volunteer Application.
