MVHCT to Receive Generous Donation from Birmingham Senior Men's Club Foundation

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) is honored to be accepting a donation of $10,000 from the Birmingham Senior Men’s Club Foundation (BSMCF). The donation will be presented on Friday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. at The Iroquois Club at 43248 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302.

The grant of $10,000 will be donated to the Home’s charitable support fund which directly enhances the quality of life for veteran members. Remarks will be led by Tim McGee, president of the BSMCF; Tiffany Carr, community engagement coordinator at Michigan Veterans Homes (MVH); and Byron “Kip” Brand, a retired Air Force veteran and resident member of MVHCT. The $10,000 donation meets nearly half of the Home’s quarterly fundraising goal of $25,000 to be met by the Christmas holiday in support of veteran quality of life, events and initiatives.
