Amanda M. Wagenschutz serves as the Vice President of People and Culture Operations at CMS Energy Corporation and its subsidiary, Consumers Energy. She assumed this position in 2020. Her key responsibilities include operationalizing the company’s talent strategy, with a strong emphasis on fostering a purpose-driven culture and ensuring a positive experience for all colleagues. With over 25 years of experience as a people leader and Human Resources professional, Wagenschutz has a passion for leadership coaching, organizational development, and building high-performing teams. She has been a change agent and culture champion since joining Consumers Energy in 2012. Wagenschutz leads the teams responsible for client-facing service delivery, overseeing areas such as business partnerships, service center & payroll operations, labor & employee relations, learning development, technology, analytics, and enterprise resource and workforce planning.
