Drinking water information

Municipal water is available in the vicinity of the property. EGLE, DHHS, and local health reviewed nearby drinking water well logs and identified three commercial properties near the site that may still have water wells. Letters were sent to the commercial property owners in the summer of 2024 but none responded. EGLE sent letters to the nearest down-gradient residential properties that are serviced by drinking water wells (that are further out from the commercial properties) in the fall of 2024. Two residents responded and both had detections below criteria. Additional set of letters were sent to the residents in January 2025 and May 2025, giving residents multiple chances to respond to the sampling offering.
