13390 S W Bay Shore Drive (Traverse City, Leelanau County)
13390 S W Bay Shore Drive was formerly the site of Zephyr, a bulk petroleum receiving, storage and dispensing facility. Three groundwater monitoring wells were sampled for PFAS, one of which had 24.1 ppt PFOA (compared to 8 ppt). Data was sent to EGLE as part of a baseline environmental assessment, which allows a potential purchaser to buy property without being liable for existing contamination.
