900 Shoreline Drive (Houghton Lake, Roscommon County)
EGLE received a baseline environmental assessment (BEA) for the property at 900 Shoreline Drive, stating that temporary monitoring wells were installed at the site and had a result of PFOA at 17 ppt (compared to 8 ppt) and PFOS at 16 ppt (compared to 16 ppt). BEAs are used by potential property owners and operators to buy or operate a site without being held liable for contamination caused by previous owners and operators. The site is currently a marina and was historically used for boat manufacturing. In 2003, a fire destroyed part of the property.

Drinking water information
EGLE, DHHS, and local health have reviewed drinking water well logs and developed a plan to sample the nearest identified drinking water well(s). Identified well owner(s) will receive a letter in the mail requesting access to sample drinking water.
