- New Business
- Numbered Letters for 2024 Batch and 2024-02
- Cary advised the Committee that the final version of 2024 batch was issued on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The final version of 2024-02 accounting for pension and OPEB grants was issued on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
- Road Manual
- Cary informed the committee that the first item worked on was account treatments for federal aids. The Committee has finalized the draft account for federal aid and has submitted it to Treasury for review. Our plan is to review it by the end of January. As the changes are made, we will run them by the Committee as well.
- Uniform Chart of Accounts
- Cary reported that this got delayed due to the work on the new system. After Treasury went through the formatting changes to be in compliance with Treasury requirements, we will need to work on the updates on newer standards. Currently, we don’t have a timeline for it.
- Delinquent Tax Revolving Fund Accounting
- Cary reported to the committee that we had planned to schedule to meet with Mary Michell, Treasurer at Emmett County, at the end of October to go over the proposals, however, that did not occur, and we will continue to follow up.
- APR Update with New System
- The testing for the new system got delayed in February. IT has not gotten back to us regarding the process of having external users help with the testing. There have been discussions about external users having to come to the state office to be able to do the testing, however, nothing has been officially confirmed.
- F65 Redesign
- We have finalized the exposure draft package; however, we took a pause on issuing it for public review because IT’s estimated time for developing the new F65 program will be about 36 months.
- MCGAA Statement 10
- We appreciate the work from the MGFOA. Treasury has not had an opportunity to review it yet.
