Financial Data Analytic Tool Reimbursement Program
Purpose:
The funding is intended to partially reimburse cities, villages, townships, counties, and regional councils of government, up to 50% of the costs, for financial forecasting and transparency reporting tools acquired through State approved vendors (Munetrix or Forecast5). The purpose of the tools is to improve the financial health of the cities, villages, townships, counties, and regional councils of government and to improve communication with the public. Funds are allocated for the Financial Data Analytic Tool Reimbursement Program under Section 936 of 2019 Public Act 56.Eligibility:
All cities, villages, townships, counties, and regional councils of government that enter into an agreement, on or before December 1, 2018, with one of the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget approved financial data analytic tool vendors are eligible for up to 50% reimbursement under the Financial Data Analytic Tool Reimbursement Program. If there are insufficient funds, the reimbursement shall be made on an equal percentage basis using 2016 census population estimates from the United States Census Bureau.Funding:
Approximately $600,000 is available for the 2020 State Fiscal Year.Filing Deadline:
