How will the Agency accept fees and taxes?

The Cannabis Regulatory Agency does not accept wire payments or American Express Credit Cards. The acceptable methods are:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Discover
  • Cash
  • Check - should be made payable to “State of Michigan”

Questions regarding the methods by which taxes may be paid should be directed to the Michigan Department of Treasury at 517-636-6925.

If you intend to pay in person, please be sure to arrive prior to 4:30 p.m. EST.
