The Agency does not approve or deny AFS Reports. However, once the Financial Compliance Section has fully reviewed the AFS report and all deficiency documents/responses, the licensee will receive a letter via email notifying them that the Agency has reviewed their AFS report. If the Agency determines that the requirements of the AFS were not met and/or information identified during the review of the AFS is in possible violation of the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act and/or associated administrative rules, a referral may be made to Licensing for licensing issues, Operations Support Section for METRC issues/errors, Enforcement for possible investigation and/or disciplinary action, or the Michigan Department of Treasury for tax compliance review. If any further action is required by the licensee after receiving the letter, the licensee will be contacted.
