Certificate of Good Standing

To request a Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of good standing, submit an email request to DIFS-LicensingORE@michigan.gov using TPA Certificate of Good Standing as the subject line. In the body of the email, provide the name exactly as it appears on the TPA certificate of authority, the TPA’s 7-digit Michigan System ID number if known, and the TPA’s email address. The TPA certificate of good standing will be emailed as a PDF document. The TPA’s email account must accept messages sent by email addresses that end in “@michigan.gov.”

No payment is required for a TPA certificate of good standing.

If you do NOT need a certificate of good standing and only need to check the status of a TPA use the DIFS Locator. Information on the status of TPAs can be viewed and printed via the Locator: DIFS Locators . Information on the Locator is updated in real-time and can be used as proof of licensure.
