Request a lead professional review to help you comply with Michigan law. A lead professional review is a free service provided by the Lead Certification and Compliance Assurance team. The service provides onsite coaching consultation and report writing assistance.

  • Certification exams are reinstated using the following COVID-19 safety precautions:

    • All exam participants must wear a mask, covering their nose and mouth.
    • All exam participants must call 517-284-0021 or email LCCAinfo@michigan.gov to schedule their exam two weeks prior to exam date (no walk-ins allowed).
    • All materials must be received prior to taking exam; completed application, copies of training certificates, and payment in form of check, money order or cash in the exact amount. We are NOT able to take card payments on site.
    • If all materials are not received prior to the registered exam date, you will need to reschedule your exam.

    Exam location: 333 S. Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 48933 (South Grand Building)

    In person exam dates:

    • 08/26 (Friday) must be registered by 8/12
    • 09/09 (Friday) must be registered by 8/26
    • 09/23 (Friday) must be registered by 9/9
    • 10/07 (Friday) must be registered by 9/23
    • 10/21 (Friday) must be registered by 10/7
    • 11/04 (Friday) must be registered by 10/21
    • 11/18 (Friday) must be registered by 11/4
    • 12/02 (Friday) must be registered by 11/18
    • 12/16 (Friday) must be registered by 12/2

  • Morning online exams start at 9:00 AM, but users need to be logged in by 8:45 AM. Afternoon online exams start at 1:00 PM, but users need to be logged in by 12:45 PM. Call 517-284-0021 or email LCCAinfo@michigan.gov to register for an exam and learn additional details about how the exams work.

    • All materials must be received prior to taking exam (completed application, copies of training certificates, and payment in form of check or money order).
    • We are NOT able to take card payments on site. If all materials are not received prior to the registered exam date, you will need to reschedule your exam.

    *IMPORTANT NOTE: Must contact to register. Exam space is extremely limited, and exams are filling up quickly.

    Online exam dates:

    • 08/31 (Wednesday) must be registered by 8/17
    • 09/14 (Wednesday) must be registered by 8/31
    • 09/28 (Wednesday) must be registered by 9/14
    • 10/12 (Wednesday) must be registered by 9/28
    • 10/26 (Wednesday) must be registered by 10/12
    • 11/09 (Wednesday) must be registered by 10/26
    • 11/23 (Wednesday) must be registered by 11/09
    • 12/07 (Wednesday) must be registered by 11/23
    • 12/21 (Wednesday) must be registered by 12/07
