MPSC to hold public hearing on METC Act 30 application
Regarding the applications of Michigan Electric Transmission Company, LLC for an act 30 certificate of public convenience and necessity for the construction of two electric transmission lines. A 345 kilovolt double circuit transmission line, approximately 39 miles long, connecting substations in Gratiot County and Eaton County and 2.) a 345 kilovolt double circuit transmission line, approximately 55 miles long, connecting substations in Calhoun County and Branch County. METC also seeks a certificate for the construction of the new Helix Substation.
