Renewable Energy Filings
On November 10, 2023, Public Act 235 was signed into law. This Act, known as the Clean and Renewable Energy and Energy Waste Reduction Act, amends Michigan's 2008 energy law, Act 295. The Renewable Energy Standard requires Michigan electric providers to achieve a retail supply portfolio that increases from 15% through 2029, 50 % in 2030 through 2034 and 60% in 2035 and each year thereafter.
