Michigan Veteran Homes Provides Wish List for Homes Ahead of Holiday Season

LANSING, Mich. – Michigan Veteran Homes has provided a wish list for each Home highlighting much-needed items to support veteran members this holiday season. The success of the Homes would not be possible without the amazing charitable support they receive from community members and veteran advocates throughout the state.

Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township is seeking monetary donations to support the life enrichment fund which is used to improve the quality of life for members. Monetary donations can be made at DONATE ONLINE or checks can be written to MVHCT and mailed to 47901 Sugarbush Rd., Chesterfield Township, MI 48047. The Home is also seeking in-kind donations such as new seasonal clothing items, snacks and entertainment options such as games, puzzles and books on CD. Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids is seeking monetary donations to support the life enrichment fund which is used to improve the quality of life for members and ongoing efforts to raise funds necessary to support the restoration of the Hebe Fountain. Monetary donations can be made at DONATE ONLINE or checks can be written to MVHGR and mailed to 3000 Monroe Ave., Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The Home is also seeking in-kind donations such as snacks and new movie releases on DVD. These items can be brought to the main entrance which is under the white canopy. Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti is seeking monetary donations to support the life enrichment fund which is used to improve the quality of life for members. Monetary donations can be made at DONATE ONLINE or checks can be written to MVHDJJ and mailed to 425 Fisher St., Marquette, MI 49855. Please indicate the fund designation "Life Enrichment" in the memo section of the check. The Home is also seeking in-kind donations such as new seasonal clothing items, personal care items, magazine subscriptions, DVD players and portable CD players. In-kind donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the lobby at the main entrance.
