Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti to Celebrate 45 Years of Serving Michigan Veterans

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti (MVHDJJ) will celebrate 45 years of serving Michigan's veterans with a community birthday celebration on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the back parking lot of the home, located at 425 Fisher St. in Marquette.

As part of this special celebration, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 35-1 will present another significant donation to the MVHDJJ Charitable Support Fund. This generous contribution will bring the organization’s cumulative giving to an incredible $100,000, reflecting years of unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of the veterans who call D.J. Jacobetti home.

Jacobetti and our continued commitment to serving U.P. veterans and their families for generations to come.”

The MVHDJJ Charitable Support Fund provides opportunities and enhancements that enrich veterans’ quality of life beyond traditional care by supporting programs, experiences and amenities made possible through the generosity of donors and community partners.
