  • Postponed Visitation 3/20/2020 -Class 42 Parent Workshop/Visitation - 2nd & 3rd Platoons

    March 20, 2020

The parent visitations on April 4-5, 2020, are postponed until further notice, per Governor Whitmer's restrictions on gatherings, and closure of school buildings until April 6, 2020.

We do not have an alternate date planned at this time, as we are getting new developments daily.

We are working diligently to arrange for extended phone calls, and are looking into the possibility for video chats.

Captain Jones and Captain Gonser are also exploring options for broadcasting parent workshops.

Please remember that our cadets are not exposed to media, thereby preventing some anxiety concerning this outbreak. Captain Boggerty and Director Gillum have been updating our cadets every other day answering questions as they come up.

    2nd & 3rd  Platoons

Class 42 Parent Workshops and Visitations:  At least one Parent/Guardian MUST ATTEND all three Parent Workshops in order to visit the Cadet that afternoon.  Preferably, the Parent/Guardian the Cadet will live with after leaving MYCA should attend the Parent Workshops.  All Parents/Guardians, Grandparents and Mentors are encouraged to participate in the Workshops.
