Q: How old does a child need to be to qualify to attend MYCA?
A: Potential Applicants must be 16-18 at the start of class.
Q: Is there a cost for my child to attend MYCA?
A: No. MYCA is Federally funded by the National Guard and State funded program.
Q: What type of schooling do you provide?
A: MYCA is partnered with Marshall Public Schools and provides credit recovery, High School Diplomas and a GED.
Q: My child is not old enough for your program, do you know of any other resources?
A: Yes – we have a list of resources that we can send parents via email.
Q: The application we received states my child should find a Mentor prior to attending, are there any guidelines we must follow?
A: Yes – Applicants must find their own mentor. A mentor must be at least 21yr old, same gender, and live within 50 miles of the student’s home.
