The Michigan Department of Treasury has been made aware that some "Reminder of Tax Due" letters sent to taxpayers contain an incorrect toll-free (1-800) TTY number, which may connect callers to a potential scam. Taxpayers with questions regarding unpaid individual income taxes are asked to contact the Treasury directly at 517-636-4486. We apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused.
January Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference

Pursuant to the Management and Budget Act, the January Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, in the House Appropriations Committee Room on the third floor of the Michigan State Capitol.
The conference will begin at 9 a.m. with presentations focusing on the U.S. and Michigan economies and state government revenues. Official revenue forecasts for fiscal years 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be revised at the conference.
Official forecasts will be established by a consensus of the conference principals, consisting of the State Treasurer, the Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency and the Director of the House Fiscal Agency. The State Budget Director will also be in attendance.
