Investigations
This is a typical submersible groundwater sampling set up. A stainless steel PFAS free submersible pump is lowered into the well and into the groundwater table. Tubing is connected to the pump which can be seen coming out of the well casing and into the bucket. The submersible pump is connected to a Marine battery to provide power. Groundwater can then be seen flowing through the tubing and into the 5 gallon bucket. Three or more well volumes of water are purged from the monitoring well to ensure a representative groundwater sample is collected before filling laboratory bottles for analysis.
