In-Person Visiting Schedules

To increase utilization of weekday visits and extend visiting opportunities for families and loved ones, MDOC is changing the time blocks for weekday in-person visitation at all facilities. Weekday time blocks will change from 2 hours in length to 3 hours in length. Changes will occur over a two-week period beginning April 7, 2025. Visitors may experience a disruption in scheduling during the update period. Facilities with updated schedules will be posted here as they become available.

There will be no change to the ability to do back-to-back visits. If back-to-back visits are available on the schedule and spots are available, you can sign up for both. There will still be no limitation on the number of weekday vs. weekend visits each month, but the maximum number of monthly visits remains unchanged. Weekend visits will remain at 2 hours in length to accommodate higher demand.
