Adult Foster Care Family Home Renewal
Renewal Information for Adult Foster Care Family Homes
Renewal information will be sent three months before the expiration date of your license. Do not submit an online renewal application until after you receive the renewal information in the mail. If you submit it prior to receiving the renewal information in the mail, your application will not be entered into the licensing database properly and will have to be resubmitted.
If you wish to renew your license, go to the online renewal application. If you did not submit your original application online, you will need to sign up for a MiLogin account. For instructions on how to create a MiLogin account and how to access the online renewal application, go to the MiLogin BCHS Registration Instructions.
Complete the online renewal application as soon as possible, but no later than 45 days prior to the expiration date of your license. Failure to return the application and renewal fee prior to the expiration of your license will result in the closure of your license.
Note: Internet Explorer is required to complete the online renewal application. In addition, you must have a credit card or a debit card to pay the fee online. (Discover and American Express Cards are not accepted.) If you don't have one of these, click here for family homes.
For all renewal applications, you are required to renew on MiLogin.
All items must be returned together and sent to:
Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
