The Every Child Reads Champions Council will advise and assist on statewide literacy efforts, including evidence‑based instruction, professional development, education programming, collaboration across agencies and communities, parental engagement, and strategies to address socioeconomic and learner‑specific challenges. The council’s work supports Michigan’s goal of ensuring every child becomes a strong reader, writer and communicator.
