What is the Financial Aid Office role for the MI Future Educator Fellowship?
To award students and receive payment, the Financial Aid Office must:
- Complete the Confirmation of Eligibility Roster in MiSSG. Students who are confirmed eligible will receive a Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement which must be signed by the student electronically.
- Students who have signed their Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement will be presented on a reimbursement roster for the institution to request payment.

When will the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential issue MI Future Educator Fellowship payments?
Payments for the 2024-25 academic year will begin September 4, 2024 and will continue on a weekly basis until August 2025.
