  • What is the Financial Aid Office role for the MI Future Educator Fellowship?

    To award students and receive payment, the Financial Aid Office must:

    • Complete the Confirmation of Eligibility Roster in MiSSG. Students who are confirmed eligible will receive a Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement which must be signed by the student electronically.
    • Students who have signed their Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement will be presented on a reimbursement roster for the institution to request payment.

  • When will the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential issue MI Future Educator Fellowship payments?

    Payments for the 2026-2027 academic year will begin in November 2026 and will continue on a quarterly basis until August 2027.
