New Programs for Future Educators
The applications are open for the MI Future Educator Fellowship and MI Future Educator Stipend. Future Educators are encouraged to apply early.
- A $10,000 scholarship program to create low-cost tuition pathways for 2,500 future Michigan educators every year.
- $9,600 stipend per semester to support Michigan’s hardworking student teachers continue their journey to being in the classroom full-time.
Student Payments
$3.5 million has been awarded to 419 future educators during the 2022-23 school year for the MI Future Educator Fellowship.
$21.6 million has been awarded to 2,012 future educators during the 2022-23 school year for the MI Future Educator Stipend.
