Individual Student Transfer Instructions

MiSSG Administrator 1 level access is needed to complete the process for individual student transfers in MiSSG.

1. Search a student using the MiSSG Search or Quick View.
2. Select ‘Summary Data’ for the academic year in which you wish to transfer.
3. Select ‘Transfer Student. Which is found under the ‘FAFSA Data’ section.
4. Select the semester/term the student will begin attending your institution.

   Note: Students will be transferred for the semester/term you select as well as all future semester/terms for the academic year.

5. Provide a comment in the ‘Reason for Update:’ and select ‘Process Transfer.’
6. Once completed, the Quick View section will then update with the students' programs for the academic year in which the transfer was processed
