Amanda Said Canta
Amanda Said Canto is the Executive Director of the Michigan Hispanic Collaborative (MiHC), where she leads strategy, programming, and organizational growth to improve educational and career outcomes for first-generation students in Michigan. Said Canto has professional experience spanning the nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors, including work at DTE Energy on student workforce readiness initiatives. She earned a Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Said Canto currently serves on the Regional Advisory Board of CareerSpring, a nonprofit supporting first-generation college students.
A proud Latina, Arab, and daughter of immigrants, Said Canto brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her mission of creating opportunities for Michiganders.
