Reporting Requirements

Access to the File Transfer Service (formerly DEG)

The State of Michigan enables transfer of data files between state agencies and their external partners through a secure web-based file transfer platform, the File Transfer Service (formerly DEG) located here: MessageWay Web Client (state.mi.us).  Your internet browser provides secure transfer no other software is necessary.

ORS creates a File Transfer Service account for each NCA. File uploading and downloading privileges are granted between specific accounts; you will be able to send report spreadsheet files to the ORSNCA account only. If you forget your password and need to have it reset, contact Employer Reporting at (517) 636-0166.

Other software requirements

Microsoft Excel is required to support the reporting process.
