MRA's Social Equity Program Announces First Business Resource Workshop, Featuring Exclusive Brands

September 16, 2020 – The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) has announced the date, time, and location for its first remote Business Resource Workshop hosted by the Social Equity Program, featuring Exclusive Brands:

     Date: Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM      
     Place: Zoom

While attendance is free, space is limited. Interested participants need to register at the following website: http://bit.ly/MRA-business.

The zoom link to attend the Business Resource Workshop will be sent to participants who register for the event.

During the Business Resource Workshop, Exclusive Brands will provide guidance on building a facility plan appropriate for your business type.  The workshop will also cover information regarding initiatives Exclusive Brands has in place to help social equity participants overcome obstacles and achieve success. Exclusive Brands’ initiatives include the following:

• Mentorship.
• Payment of application fees on behalf of others.
• Job fairs, that will include resume building workshops and available positions at every level of the industry.
• Ongoing training opportunities.

Representatives from Exclusive Brands and the MRA’s social equity representatives will be holding a question and answer session following Exclusive Brands’ presentation.

The MRA’s social equity program will continue to provide one-on-one sessions for completing the adult-use application and connecting social equity participants with resources to achieve their goals. These Business Resource Workshops will help facilitate that connection.
