October 26, 2020 – The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) has announced the date, time, and location for its October Business Resource Workshop hosted by the Social Equity Program and featuring representatives from the city of Ypsilanti and the city of Grand Rapids.
Date: Thursday, October 29, 2020
Time: 10:00 AM
Place: Zoom
While attendance is free, space is limited. Interested participants need to register at the following website: http://bit.ly/MRA-workshop1.
The workshop will highlight how social equity considerations have been incorporated within the cities’ recreational marijuana ordinances. Adult-Use license applicants interested in operating in Grand Rapids or Ypsilanti will get direct information on municipal requirements. Municipalities opting-in to Adult-Use and considering a social equity component will have an opportunity to see what other communities have in place.
The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session, which allows the attendees to ask questions of all the presenters and the social equity team.
