Michigan Lifeline Eligibility Database
Pursuant to Public Act 34 of 2020, eligibility criteria for the Michigan Lifeline Program has changed. The Michigan Lifeline Eligibility Database (MLED) should now only be used to re-certify customers who became Lifeline participants prior to January 1, 2020.
Providers are responsible for checking the eligibility criteria for customers who apply for the Michigan Lifeline Program after January 1, 2020. (The criteria are the same as the Federal Lifeline Program).
Important: The Lifeline National Verifier launched in Michigan on June 11, 2019. Michigan Eligible Telecommunications Carriers (ETCs) that are seeking federal support for Lifeline service are responsible for ensuring that subscribers are enrolled or recertified pursuant to the FCC's revised eligibility criteria and those ETCs must now use the National Verifier for federal purposes.
