LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids (MVHGR) is honored to be celebrating its volunteers during a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on September 19 from 4-6 p.m. at 2950 Monroe Ave. NE, Grand Rapids. This year’s theme is "Volunteers Light the Way", which honors and acknowledges the positive light and warmth volunteers generously offer in service to MVHGR. The banquet will include remarks by Carly MacDonald, administrator for MVHGR, with a special member and staff video expressing gratitude for the more than 100 volunteers that support veteran members throughout the year.
